Craps runs in two phases: come-out roll and point phase. The shooter starts with the come-out roll.
This trainer teaches the rules and table layouts of craps and roulette using play money only. There is no real wagering and nothing to buy. Casino games carry a built-in house edge, so the long-run outcome favors the house.

Craps runs in two phases: come-out roll and point phase. The shooter starts with the come-out roll.
On the come-out roll, 7 or 11 wins. 2, 3, or 12 loses. Any 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 becomes the point.
After a point is set, Pass Line wins if the point repeats before a 7. It loses if 7 rolls first.
After the point, many players add odds behind Pass Line. Odds pay true odds, but the base Pass Line bet still pays 1:1.
Click a number for a straight-up bet, or use the outside bet buttons below. The simulator shows what wins, what loses, and why.
Inside bets target exact numbers or small groups. Outside bets target larger groups like red/black, odd/even, dozens, or columns.
A straight-up bet picks one number. It pays 35:1 when it hits, but it is unlikely to land on a specific number.
Red/black, odd/even, and low/high pay 1:1. Green 0 and 00 are why these are not true 50/50 bets.
European roulette has one green zero. American roulette has 0 and 00, which changes the probabilities.
Come-out: 7/11 win, 2/3/12 lose. Any 4/5/6/8/9/10 becomes the point. After point: repeat point before 7 to win.
Come-out: 2/3 win, 7/11 lose, 12 usually pushes. After point: 7 before the point wins.
Works like a new Pass Line bet after a point is established. It travels to a number and then waits for that number before 7.
Wins when 6 or 8 rolls before a 7. These are common because 6 and 8 are frequent point numbers besides 7.
Extra bet after a point. Pays true odds: 4/10 pay 2:1, 5/9 pay 3:2, 6/8 pay 6:5.
One-roll bet. 2,3,4,9,10,11,12 win; 5,6,7,8 lose. 2 and 12 payout rules vary by table.
One exact number. Pays 35:1.
Two adjacent numbers. Pays 17:1.
Three-number row. Pays 11:1.
Four-number square. Pays 8:1.
Twelve numbers. Pays 2:1.
Eighteen numbers. Pays 1:1. Green zero spaces make the house edge.
